MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING

Mental Wellbeing Support 13 - 25

BYHP’s Mental Wellbeing service is for any young people aged 13-25 years old that are struggling with their mental health. We have 1:1 weekly wellbeing sessions for around 12 weeks tailored to individual’s specific needs.
 
Our sessions can cover a wide range of topics including:
• Dealing with anxiety/stress
• Access to education employment and training
• Personal identity
• Physical health/body image
• Recognising/managing emotions
• Relationships/social media
• Steps to wellbeing
• Social skills/engagement
 
Please note our current waiting time for this service is around 10 weeks

Counselling 13-25
If you, or a young person have concerns about life, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-harm, abuse, trauma, you can contact us through a confidential and private referral.
 
Our free counselling service is offered for 24 weeks, with 6 weekly reviews with your therapist. These sessions can take place face to face or virtually.
 
We will offer assessment by a Therapist who is associated with a regulatory body such as The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with a minimum of fit to practice trainee status.
