HELP US……TO HELP OTHERS
Every year more and more clients are using BYHP services ranging from Counselling, Housing Advice Service, Family Mediation and Employability.
This in turn means that financial resources of the Charity are continually challenged. We are now seeking a commercial sponsor who will “invest” in fundraising software to assist BYHP in seeking grants from Trusts and Foundations, as well as from the corporate sector.
There are two software programs that the Charity are seeking to purchase from the Directory of Social Change.
The first features 4,500 grant making Trusts which spend £6 billion a year, whilst the other programme lists 544 companies who make £420 million in charitable contributions within the UK.
The cost of each software package is £500 per annum.
BYHP Chief Executive Patrick Vercoe says, “If we could find a sponsor who would be prepared to contribute a £1000 per year for a 3-year term that would be great otherwise sponsorship per year would also be appreciated.
“Obtaining this software means that in terms of fundraising BYHP will be more self-sufficient in terms of securing financial support, which in turn will give us extra financial resources to help others”.

175th anniversary of Sibford School proved especially beneficial to BYHP

A Celebratory Music Meeting to mark the 175th anniversary of Sibford School near Banbury proved especially beneficial to BYHP.
Lady Saye and Sele, Patron of our Project, and Aline, one of the charity’s trustees, were invited to join the gathering so that they could be presented with a cheque for £9,000. The money was raised at a black-tie ball organised by Sibford parents. |
Lady Saye and Sele said: “This is an amazing amount and we are delighted to receive it on behalf of BYHP knowing that it will be extremely well received and put to very good use.”
Musicians from both Sibford Junior and Sibford Senior School shared their talents in the meeting which was attended by pupils, parents, staff, old scholars and members of the local community.
In addition to musical contributions, the meeting also saw the first screening of a new video, produced to mark the 175th anniversary of Sibford School.
