BYHP Peer Support Project
The peer support project has been set up in order to provide peer listeners to young people aged 16-25 in a range of settings including existing BYHP drop-ins.
The peer supporters, who have had past experience of mental health difficulties, will be trained in basic counselling skills and will be available for Young People to talk to. They will be able to sign post Young People to relevant services.
The service will be confidential and the supporters will have ongoing supervision. If you are interested in being a peer supporter or accessing the supporters please contact Laura for more details.
