BYHP Peer Support Project

The Peer Support is made up of young volunteers that have been trained in Peer Support through the BYHP organisation.

They offer encouragement for young people to make their own decisions and a support network for young people to use if they are experiencing issues within their lives, which they wish to share and work through in order for them to find positive solutions.

Peer Support:

  • Provides an opportunity to talk
  • Is patient and understanding to all current issues
  • Is an enthusiastic and a caring service
  • Relates to young people through young people
  • Offers trained individuals ready to support and listen

Our current Peer Supporters are Steph, Lauren and Katie. They are friendly and understanding and they can be contacted at BYHP Drop-In on a Thursday between 1.30pm-2.30pm, the Banbury Foyer on Thursday at 12pm-1pm, and MIND 1pm-3.30pm.

Contact numbers 07982457906 / 07742334672

The service is confidential and the supporters have ongoing supervision.

If you are interested in being a Peer Supporter, please contact Mike at BYHP.
