BYHP is funded through Connexions to employ a Specialist Personal Adviser. This enables BYHP to link young people into training and employment initiatives at an early stage and break the "no job, no home, no job" cycle. the Personal Adviser post has developed close links with Connexions and training and employment providers in Banbury.
BYHP workers are trained to teach young people who want to improve their basic skills - reading, writing, communication, numeracy and computer skills. BYHP is part of Oxfordshire County Council's Wireless Information Network. This scheme aims to help homeless people access IT and the internet through providing laptops and training for staff.
